NACD Virtual Director Professionalism®

NACD's renowned Director Professionalism course serves as the prerequisite for NACD Directorship Certification®. Offered online as Virtual Director Professionalism, this course offers real-world insights through informative modules presented by experienced directors. Upon completing this course, you'll be equipped with the boardroom fundamentals necessary to successfully navigate today's dynamic business environment. Virtual Director Professionalism is ideal for directors preparing for a new public-company board role or looking to position themselves for future board seats, or mid-level and seasoned directors looking for a refresher. The course can be taken at your own pace with the flexibility to participate at any time, from anywhere.

Virtual Certification

Becoming NACD Directorship Certified™ is now more convenient than ever. During your application process, select Virtual Director Professionalism as your preferred course location.

Once you've applied and completed the course, you'll receive instructions from our testing partner, Pearson VUE, on how to schedule your exam, at which point you will have the opportunity to select the online exam option. The price of the course is included in the Complete Certification Package bundle fee.

If you are currently enrolled in Virtual Director Professionalism, you will meet the prerequisite for Certification upon successful completion. You will then be able to apply and schedule your online exam. If you have any questions, please contact Certification@NACDonline.org
